NLC Trenches Performance 2025


Welcome to the NLC All Sport Performance Program! 

We are excited to have you join us this off-season to prepare for your respected sports. This has been in the works for a while, as we have worked with hundreds of athletes since 2017, from the youth to the professional level.

Coach Rob Smith has played sports all of his life, explicitly reaching the professional level of football. Coach Rob has had opportunities
to showcase his abilities for the Washington Commanders and Baltimore Ravens and has played overseas professionally. He has
worked with several athletes recently, obtaining college scholarships through his training methods. Coach Rob specializes in working with football
linemen and developing their game in the tranches.

We have now added another Class for youth sports performance training! The details are identical, but the times and price change due to the youth's need for more attention to detail!

What you will receive from this training:

Defensive Linemen:

Stance and Alignment: Learn the proper stance to get off the line of scrimmage quickly and in the most advantageous position for a rush.
Explosion and First Step: Training to explode out of your stance with a quick, explosive first step to gain leverage over offensive linemen.
Hand Placement and Technique: Learning hand-fighting moves to disengage from blockers, including swipes, rips, clubs, and swims.
Pass Rush Moves: Various pass rush techniques, such as the bull rush (using strength), speed rush (using quickness), spin move, and counter moves, are used to break past blockers.

Offensive linemen:

Stance and Alignment:
  • Proper stance: Feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, weight on the balls of the feet, hands in front for balance.
  • Body posture: Keep a low, powerful stance to leverage strength and drive defenders off the line of scrimmage.
Driving Off the Ball:
  • Explosive first step: driving with the legs while maintaining a strong posture.
  • Moving defenders off the line of scrimmage to create running lanes.
Leverage and Positioning:
  • Maintain a low pad level to gain leverage on defenders.


Dates:
The classes are on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

February 18, 2025 - March 25, 2025

The last class is on February 11. 
Phase 2 will begin on February 11, should you choose to continue. 
It will be a hybrid indoor/outdoor program, depending on the weather.

Tuesdays:
Youth Ages: 7-13 | 6:00 pm -7:30 pm
HS/College Ages: 14 -18 | 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Saturdays:
Youth Ages: 7-13 | 10:00 am -11:30 am
HS/College Ages: 15-18 | 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Pricing for eight sessions:
$180 Early Bird
$200: for MS / HS
$50 Drop-Ins
